Meet the Nautilus

A brand-new creature has surfaced!
The Nautilus is a fully interactive mob that reacts to your actions, wears armor, and can even be ridden when saddled.

️ Features

️ Armor System
Equip your Nautilus with Iron, Gold, Diamond, or Copper armor — each type dynamically changes its appearance.

Saddle & Mounting
Add a saddle to make it rideable! Once equipped, you can hop on and explore the seas together.

Feeding & Growth
Feed a baby Nautilus with Cod, Salmon, or Tropical Fish to help it grow into a full-sized companion.

Dynamic Visuals
The Nautilus automatically shows or hides its armor and saddle parts based on what it’s wearing.

Sound & Effects
Enjoy custom sounds for damage and death, plus particle effects when changing armor or growing.

Loot Drop
If the Nautilus was saddled, it will drop its saddle upon death.

Beta Chat System Rework

We’ve reworked several core systems and introduced a completely new chat system!
This update is currently in beta and still undergoing testing.

Changes include:

• New Anti-Swear System

• New Item Display (Inventory and other items shown in chat)

• Discord support for all displayed items

• New Playerlist display for Discord

• Improved Anti-Spam handling

Exploria Beta Incoming!

The History of Dragon Shield

Hey adventurers!
I’m Marti, the owner and founder of Dragon Shield, and today I want to take you on a trip through our past — from humble beginnings, through struggles, to where we stand today.

The Beginning (2019)
Back in 2019, after diving back into Minecraft, I had a dream: to create a modded survival / MMORPG server unlike any other.

The first name that came to me was Dragon Shield, and it stuck.

Soon enough, that idea turned into a thriving little community. With 30–40 daily players, the world of Dragon Shield was alive with builds, adventures, and friendships. We didn’t have much, but we had each other — and that’s what made it magical.

The Shutdown (2020)
But then came 2020.
I caught COVID-19, which developed into pneumonia, and I was hospitalized for a long time. Sadly, Dragon Shield couldn’t continue and had to shut down.

The Attempted Revival (2022)
Two years later, I tried to reignite the fire. For about three months in 2022, Dragon Shield shone again… until I was hit with COVID (Delta strain).

Once more, I was hospitalized, and the revival had to be cut short.

️ The Comeback (Late 2023 – 2024)
But I wasn’t ready to give up.
In November 2023, I began quietly working on the current version of Dragon Shield. No big ads, no noise — just focus and dedication.

Then in February 2024, we officially reopened with a new mindset:
“Enough is enough. It’s time for a comeback.”

And it worked. The community returned, and Dragon Shield was alive once more.

The Ignis Update (2025)
At the start of 2025, we rolled out our biggest project yet: The Ignis Update.
Development was long, and while ads slowed down and numbers dipped, the content we delivered was massive. New features, new adventures, and new players began to arrive.

The flame of Dragon Shield burns brighter than ever.

️ Closing Thoughts
From the highs of bustling towns to the lows of sudden shutdowns, Dragon Shield has been through it all. But one thing has always remained: our community’s spirit.
